Report Child Abuse, Abandonment, or Neglect
All employees and agents have an affirmative duty to report all actual or suspected cases of child abuse, abandonment, or neglect pursuant to Chapter 39, Florida Statutes.
Reporting Misconduct by Instructional Personnel and Administrators
Reports shall be made to:

- Obscene language
- Drug or alcohol use
- Sexual misconduct
- Physical aggression
- Testing violations
- Harassment
- Discrimination
- Violations of professional boundaries
- Accepting or offering favors
Duty to Report and Penalties
Failure to report suspected child abuse or educator misconduct may result in disciplinary action and penalties under Florida law.
The school prohibits retaliation against any person making a good-faith report.
Standards of Ethical Conduct
Employee Screening Requirements
All employees and individuals with direct student contact undergo the background screening procedures required by Florida law and scholarship participation requirements.
Confidentiality Agreements Prohibited
Father's H.A.R.B.O.R. Academy shall not enter into confidentiality agreements regarding dismissed or terminated employees whose conduct affected the health, safety, or welfare of students.
